Experience Jessie Montgomery’s inventive Strum for strings before Zoltan Kodaly’s lively Dances of Galanta, based on gypsy folk music. After the strife and heartache of war, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 brings a full throttle, triumphant finish as TFO celebrates 250 years of the iconic composer. Performed on Oct 31, 2020 at the Mahaffey Theater.
